Vincent Pharries Byers, TX Died: March 03, 2010 Vincent Pharries, 66, of Byers, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. James Keenum, officiating. Interment will follow at Charlie Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A son of the late Carlton and Bonnie (Morris) Pharries, he was born on October 14, 1943 in Burkburnett, Texas. On December 9, 1967, he married Carol West. He was a member of the Petrolia Masonic Lodge #932, and a 32nd Degree Mason. Vincent enjoyed NASCAR Racing, watching Western movies, and reading. He never met a stranger, and enjoyed talking and joking with people. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Joe Pharries. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol Pharries of Byers; his daughter, Diana Murray and husband Joel of Burkburnett; his son, Ben Pharries and wife Larissa of Byers; three brothers, Darwin Pharries of Charlie, Jim Pharries of Wichita Falls, and Jerold Pharries of Charlie; a sister, June Reynolds of Wichita Falls; his granddaughter, Brittany; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., Wichita Falls, TX 76310; or to the Charlie Cemetery Association. Page 1-2
